Wine Go Where

Hong Kong

Hong Kong has 19 wine bars on Wine Go Where, concentrated on Hong Kong Island. Central and Soho hold the most: ThinkWine, James Suckling Wine Central, La Cabane, SILÈNE, Maison Natsukashii, Bar Cyclone, Bourke's and Terroirs by LQV. Head west and Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun have CORKS, mato coffee wine, Crushed, La Cave and Brut!, a cluster with a strong natural-wine lean.

Wan Chai adds LQV's bar and cellar, Zau Mei and The Baker & The Bottleman, Causeway Bay has CORKS and Aroma Wine Bistro, and across the harbour Scarlett in Tsim Sha Tsui is the Kowloon pick. Hong Kong has no duty on wine, so bottle prices and retail-plus-corkage deals are often better value than in Singapore.

Many of these bars are small and fill up after work, so book where you can and expect a later crowd at weekends.
