Vietnam has 16 wine bars on Wine Go Where: nine in Ho Chi Minh City and seven in Hanoi. Both cities have moved quickly from hotel wine lists to independent bars with serious by-the-glass programmes and a good share of natural wine.

In Ho Chi Minh City most of the bars are in Thao Dien, with others in District 1, District 3 and Binh Thanh. Hanoi's are mainly in Hoan Kiem, around the Old Quarter and French Quarter, with MÀU near the Temple of Literature and Vin Hơi in Ba Dinh.
