Somme Wine Bar

Somme opened in 2025 on the 11th floor of The Nexx Building in District 3, about 300 metres from Turtle Lake. The room is wrapped in large glass panels with city views and deliberately oversized lounge furniture. The name started as a nod to 'sommelier'; the team later learned that 'somme' is French for a short nap, and kept it.

The list runs from classics to newer discoveries, and the team added a food menu designed to pair with the wine. It was still featured in The Dot Magazine's January 2026 round-up of the city's best new openings.

It suits sundowners and relaxed evenings above the traffic.
