Malaysia has 16 wine bars on Wine Go Where: 14 in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya and two in Penang. The Klang Valley scene is young, independent and noticeably natural-wine friendly, with many bars doubling as bottle shops.

In KL, Bangsar and Mont Kiara have Unwined, Juno and Basic Wine Store, Chinatown and Chow Kit have Coupe De Vin, Gentle Giants and UP KL, and Petaling Jaya adds Mellow, Château DeCanter, D's and Psychotic Operator. In Penang, Wine Not and Ino Space are both in George Town.
