Juno sits in a quiet corner of Jalan Abdullah in Bangsar, next door to the cocktail bar Coley. The wine list is carefully edited and changes regularly, mixing easy-drinking bottles with natural producers such as DEFIALY and Les Vignes de Babass, and newer Japanese winemakers have also featured. An eight-wine house pouring list covers drinking by the glass.
The kitchen sends out European-leaning small plates: oysters, beef tartare, sage gnocchi, avocado tempura, grilled corn ribs with miso caramel and a larger Angus sirloin for sharing. The bar also runs pairing events and food takeovers.
The mood sits somewhere between jazz club and European deli, good for a date or a light dinner with wine.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
