D's opened in December 2022 as an educational wine bar led by sommelier Happy Gan, drawing on the DC Selections import portfolio of the DC Restaurant group. The list focuses on grower Champagne and Burgundy, with cellar-worthy bottles from Bordeaux, the Rhône, the Loire, Galicia, Priorat and Catalonia, and some Italy and Australia. The by-the-glass selection regularly features unusual bottles, and the glassware is noted as tasting-grade. Star Wine List recognised it again in 2026.
The kitchen serves Spanish-leaning plates designed for the wine, including an Ibérico ham "Bikini" sandwich, chicharrón, gambas a la plancha and cheese and charcuterie.
The room is low-key, with a mural-lined dining area and walls of wine fridges, and suits serious wine drinkers and date nights alike.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
