Unwined started as a natural wine bottle shop in the APW creative hub in Bangsar and grew into a bar. Founded by Hsiao Tung Wei, it keeps a few hundred low- to no-intervention wines on hand at any time, which you browse in the chiller or on the list; staff steer you by style, whether you are after something funky, fruity or floral. Bottles can be bought to take away or opened on site.
There is no kitchen of its own: guests order from APW neighbours such as Proof Pizza. Seating is a mix of bar stools and a relaxed outdoor area.
It is the original of a small group that also runs Unwined Plus on Jalan Telawi 2, and works well for an unhurried afternoon or early-evening bottle.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
