Salon Kiku opened in 2024 on the fourth floor of the Studio Lam building on Sukhumvit 51. The wine selection leans natural and avant-garde, and staff are happy to recommend new bottles.
Music is half the point: a rotating line-up of DJs and live bands plays jazz, soul, funk, Thai funk and house through vintage Altec speakers. Early evenings feel like a jazz café; later it moves towards dancing. Food is limited to cheese and cold cuts.
The warm, soft-lit room has city views and a patio. It suits people who want good wine with good records rather than a quiet tasting.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
