Sala Saneha occupies a 70-year-old building on Soi Decho in Silom and combines a wine bar, a restaurant and a small cinema under one roof. The wine list runs to more than 2,000 bottles.
The cinema has about 25 mismatched seats and screens films weekly, with a focus on Thai classics, usually with English subtitles. A bookshop corner is planned.
It suits a slow evening of dinner, a bottle and a film, and is one of the more unusual wine addresses in the city.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
