MUST Wine Bar sits on the second floor of the SODALITY building on Thong Lo 13. The owner hand-picks a rotating list of more than 600 labels, and the by-the-glass menu and wine flights make it easy to work through several styles in one visit. There is an attached bottle shop for taking wine home.
The food is bar-snack scale with a Thai twist: Southern Thai crab curry croquettes and Scotch eggs made with sai ua sausage, plus a weekend brunch.
The room is set up for unhurried, conversation-led drinking rather than a party crowd. It suits curious drinkers who like to taste across a list, and it opens from 2pm, earlier than most Bangkok wine bars.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
