Multiverse Wine Store Bar (橙花商店) is a wine shop and bar in the ground-floor arcade at 100 Dunhua North Road. Its single-glass tasting programme, curated by veteran wine educator Chuang Tsai-hsun, pours wines at roughly NT$200–300 a glass and is designed to teach: horizontal comparisons (such as an unoaked Paul Hobbs Chardonnay against an oaked Vasse Felix) and vertical ones (old- and young-vine Famille Perrin southern Rhône blends). The menu changes every two weeks, with occasional rare-bottle pours.
Food comes from the adjoining hotel kitchen, and the store also sells curated groceries such as Christine Ferber jams and Taiwanese cured meats.
It suits beginners and curious drinkers who want to learn by tasting side by side.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
