Napoleon Food & Wine Bar is an all-French wine bistro in a traditional shophouse on Telok Ayer Street, with Burgundy limestone walls, original timber beams and a small front terrace.
The list runs region by region through France, from Alsace, Burgundy and Beaujolais to Bordeaux, the Loire, the Rhône, Languedoc-Roussillon and Cahors. Around 32 wines, including Grands Crus Classés, sit in Enomatic dispensers and rotate regularly, so you can order a tasting pour or half glass before committing, and bottles can be bought to take home. The team also runs wine tasting classes and private events.
The kitchen serves French bistro dishes at lunch and dinner on weekdays and dinner on Saturdays, with an all-day sharing menu at the bar. It suits CBD after-work drinks and anyone who wants to explore French regions glass by glass.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
