Le Clos is a wine house in the New Bahru lifestyle hub off River Valley Road, combining a deli, an all-day wine bar, a private wine room and a restaurant of about 70 seats. The room is warm and plant-filled, with Persian rugs, rattan chairs and a wall of bottles.
The cellar holds around 800 labels, and bottles from the wine cellar can be bought to take home alongside cheeses, cold cuts and fresh pastries from the deli. The wine bar runs from 10am to midnight daily.
The restaurant cooks a French-leaning menu with steaks and sharing plates at lunch and dinner. It suits long lunches, relaxed evening glasses and private celebrations.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
