Le Bon Funk Holland Village is the second of The Lo & Behold Group's Bon Funk neighbourhood wine bars, a 68-seat space on Holland Avenue with a bright interior and a terrace running along its length.
Like the Club Street original it pours natural and low-intervention wines from small producers, with a tight, accessible list that changes regularly.
The contemporary European menu includes the signature beef tongue sandwich, foie gras toast with cedar jelly, house pastas and larger plates such as herb-stuffed heritage chicken to share. It suits relaxed weekend lunches, terrace drinks and Holland Village dinners.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
