Hermitage Quality Wines

Hermitage Quality Wines is a wine importer and retailer whose bar and café sits on the ground floor of One Shenton in the CBD. It feels more like a cosy bistro than a formal wine bar, with friendly service and no pretension.

The wines come from the company's own portfolio, which includes producers such as Rockford, Kooyong and Thistledown from Australia, Bodegas Balbás from Spain and Massimago and Cantina Spada from Italy, so bottles are priced keenly and can also be bought to take away or delivered.

The kitchen serves comfort food, from cheese platters and pies to Japanese dishes such as unagi don and soba, and coffee is on from the morning. It suits weekday CBD lunches and after-work bottles on a budget.
