13% Wine Bistro occupies the second floor of a Peranakan shophouse on Telok Ayer Street and runs as an all-day spot for lunch, after-work glasses and dinner.
The owners import their wines directly from the vineyards, mostly family-owned French domaines such as Laurent & Ferland Pillot in Chassagne-Montrachet and Domaine Singla in Roussillon, plus a few bottles from further afield such as Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. The same range is sold for home delivery through its sister shop 13Cellar.
Food is family-style European sharing plates, with cheese and charcuterie boards for grazing. It suits relaxed CBD groups and anyone after good-value French bottles.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
