Glou Wine & Bistro opened in 2023 in an older building on Jalan Wijaya in Kebayoran Baru. Its name comes from the French 'glou-glou', used for light, fruity wines that are easy to drink, and wine sits at the centre of the concept, with a curated cellar of reds, whites and blends and staff on hand to advise.
Chef Renatta Moeloek, trained at Le Cordon Bleu in France, runs a casual French bistro menu inspired by neighbourhood bistros, using local produce.
The space is warm and informal, suited to long dinners with friends over a few bottles.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
