Mosto is a natural wine bar and European-style bistro on Jalan Pantai Berawa, run by sommelier Nicolas Lento. The list focuses on small producers working organically or biodynamically, with minimal-intervention wines from names such as Milan Nestarec, Partida Creus, Domaine Mamaruta and Radikon, served by the glass, carafe or bottle.
Around ten wines are poured by the glass at any time, starting at IDR 95k, with bottles running from about IDR 520k up to skin-contact and Champagne rarities. The kitchen turns out sharing plates: sourdough, oysters, charcuterie and cheese, crudo, beef tartare, fresh pasta and a BBQ pork collar.
It opens every evening from 5pm and suits anyone curious about natural wine who wants proper food alongside it.
Small bars fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Book ahead where you can.
